Netanyahu: We will remain on Mount Hermon summit until our security is guaranteed

The Prime Minister of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that the occupation forces will remain stationed at the summit of Mount Hermon, which he described as an "important point," until other arrangements are reached to ensure the security of the occupation.

For his part, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stressed that the forces will remain in the area for as long as required, noting that this measure enhances deterrence.

The Prime Minister's Office explained that Netanyahu visited the "Sheikh Mountains" area on the border with Syria, noting that the deployment of occupation forces in the buffer zone in Syria is a temporary measure until a force is formed that abides by the disengagement agreement.
