Gaza screams: When will the war of revenge stop?
70 martyrs were killed yesterday, according to official data in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the ongoing Israeli war of death, and the people are waiting impatiently for news that will bring joy to their souls, if diplomatic negotiations succeed in a ceasefire, even if it is temporary, due to the people’s need for a period to regain peace and calm, and breathe a sigh of relief. However, it is clear so far that what is imposed on the citizens of the Strip is the continuation of the war, massacres and genocide, as the Gaza Strip is exposed to destruction on top of the destruction that has befallen most areas, accompanied by the smell of death that is emanating everywhere.
The lives of citizens in the Gaza Strip cannot be described, and the painful stories that spread daily in the media make hearts break with sadness, for children who have been turned into pieces, and mothers who cry with grief and longing as they bid farewell to their husbands, while a large number of citizens have difficult and harsh stories of successive displacement trips and their inability to remain in one area, as the death planes force them to move constantly to avoid being killed by the indiscriminate bombing that does not distinguish and targets everyone under the pretext of revenge against our people and the neighboring areas.
The Palestinian people in Gaza have entrusted their affairs to God. The bereaved, the afflicted, the oppressed, the shocked and the suffering, all trust in God Almighty’s ability to grant them peace, calm, comfort and reassurance in the end. However, they wonder how much time is left until this war ends and lays down its weapons. Although it appears to be in its final stages, the pace of killing, revenge and the execution of entire families raises big questions and concerns among the citizens, who no longer trust anyone, especially since Israel and its extremist government are determined to commit more horrific massacres, which make one’s hair stand on end with the charred, burned or dismembered bodies they leave behind. They say and shout at the top of their voices: Enough with the war of revenge.
Recently, the UN General Assembly voted overwhelmingly in favor of a resolution to immediately cease fire in Gaza. Does this obligate Israel?
The answer: Of course not, a thousand times no, Israel has not paid attention to anything bigger than this issue, and today it is directing its extremist army to more killing and revenge operations, and this is what Gaza fears today and is strongly insisting on a ceasefire, and from here the joy that appeared a few days ago in Al-Mawasi about the imminent reaching of an agreement must appear everywhere in the Gaza Strip, when this brutal aggression ends, and this is the least thing the people of Gaza are waiting for to return to what remains of the destroyed Gaza.
