Israeli occupation demolishes Al-Araqib village for the 232nd time

This morning, Monday, the Israeli authorities demolished the tents of the residents of the unrecognized village of Al-Araqib, which is threatened with uprooting and displacement in the Negev region, in the lands of 1948, for the 232nd time; under the protection of police forces and their affiliated units.

This is the tenth time that the Israeli authorities have demolished the tents and modest homes that house the people of Al-Araqib since the beginning of this year until today, after demolishing them 11 times in 2023, 15 times in 2022, and 14 times in 2021, in its repeated attempts to push the villagers to frustration and despair and displace them from their lands.

The first time the Israeli authorities demolished Al-Araqib was on July 27, 2010, while the previous demolition was carried out on October 13.

The people of Al-Araqib village insist on staying and clinging to their land, and they re-erect their tents each time from wood and nylon coverings to protect them from the intense heat in the summer and the bitter cold in the winter, and to confront plans to uproot and displace them from their land.
