The President congratulates President Trump on winning the US presidential elections

President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Mr. Donald Trump on his election as President of the United States of America, wishing him success.

In his congratulatory telegram, the President expressed his aspiration to work with President Trump for peace and security in the region, stressing our people's commitment to seeking freedom, self-determination and statehood, in accordance with international law.

“We will remain steadfast in our commitment to peace, and we are confident that under your leadership the United States will support the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people,” the president said.
