Escalation of aggression on the West Bank

Yesterday, Israel escalated its aggression against citizens and property in the West Bank, in a continuous and ongoing series of destroying the infrastructure, targeting civilians, and making their lives difficult, which have never been normal. It is a life of pride and dignity, and Israel is trying to disarm its moral weapon by remaining steadfast and clinging to the land through these dangerous practices and violations.

In one day, the Israeli army assassinated seven citizens; two in Tamoun in Tubas, and five in Qabatiya in Jenin, through airstrikes, gunfire, and direct targeting, in addition to destroying and blowing up a house in Qabatiya, carrying out arrest campaigns, large-scale raids on homes, and attempting to humiliate citizens by arresting, shackling, and cuffing them.

The city of Tulkarm, its camp, and the Nour Shams camp were the scene and stage of large-scale bulldozing operations, through a large-scale invasion campaign, which included bulldozing operations, which caused great damage to citizens’ property, infrastructure, and public facilities.

The destruction operations included the main water line that supplies Tulkarm camp, burning a commercial store, bulldozing entire neighborhoods, imposing a siege on the camps, in addition to arrests, firing tear gas at citizens, and obstructing the movement of cars.

Israel bears full responsibility for the massacres of killing and destruction it has committed in the northern West Bank. There is no doubt that this comes within the framework of the plan of the extreme right in Israel, which calls for the expulsion and displacement of Palestinians as part of its comprehensive war on our people. The manifestations of this plan are what was stated by the dismissed Israeli Minister of Defense, Galant, and what was stated by the Chief of Staff, Halevi, after a series of meetings over the past few days with the leaders of the extremist settlers, where they reaffirmed that the West Bank is an arena and a war front, and it must be curbed and worked hard in it to prevent the recurrence of what they claim are false narratives that indicate the intentions of the Palestinian resistance to carry out storming operations in the northern settlements, similar to what happened in the settlements of the Gaza Envelope on October 7, 2023.

Not long ago, the demolition massacres in Jerusalem witnessed a noticeable increase in their pace yesterday, through the demolition of seven houses in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, all with the aim of emptying the historic Al-Bustan neighborhood in the town of its people and residents and displacing them, which caused the displacement of more than 50 citizens who became homeless.

There must be a serious and firm stand in which the conscience of global humanity intervenes, but it seems that this conscience has lost the sense and feeling of the need of an oppressed people to lift the aggression against them in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem. It seems that this silence is considered a cover for Israel to continue its aggression against our people. In addition to the daily war of extermination in the Strip, the incursions and assassinations in the West Bank are an additional series that completes the cycle of Israeli killing of everything Palestinian.
