The Israeli Ambulance Service reported on Tuesday that one person was killed and five others were injured in a shooting attack near Ashdod, southern Israel, while the perpetrator was martyred.
The occupation army radio reported earlier that 3 Israelis were injured in shooting at two locations near Ashdod, before the ambulance service announced the new toll.
Israeli media reported that a policeman was seriously injured in the shooting.
The newspaper "Israel Today" indicated that the perpetrator of the shooting targeted a police patrol car on Route 4 near Ashdod.
