Israeli war on the northern West Bank

The large-scale Israeli invasion of the northern West Bank yesterday is a clear declaration of a state of war, through which Israel continues to violate all forms of life, in an attempt to kill everything Palestinian, and clearly target and eliminate the Palestinian cause.

Israel's goals do not stop at fighting one Palestinian faction or one region or another. The war is against everyone: aggression and genocide in Gaza, large-scale invasions in the West Bank, and serious and grave violations in Jerusalem. All of these measures clearly aim to resolve many issues, the most important of which is eradicating the spirit of resistance in the refugee camps, in a clear attempt to re-displace and deport them, as Israel's history is full of many similar crimes since the Nakba of 1948, and without a doubt an attempt to eliminate the role of the Palestinian National Authority. Given the seriousness of the situation, President Mahmoud Abbas cut short his visits abroad and returned to the homeland immediately to follow up on the situation closely.

The statements of the Israeli Foreign Minister, in which he said that (the West Bank must be treated like Gaza), demanding the implementation of an order to evacuate the population, came to translate the state of war that Israel is waging on the West Bank, to divide it and transform it into cantons that allow Israel to control it, and then implement plans for forced displacement and the continuation of aggression and the war of extermination.

Netanyahu aims, through the war that has escalated in the northern West Bank, to maintain the state of tension in the region in order to impose new equations that will enable Israel to impose a state of aggression, in light of the talk of a possible deal under American pressure. Thus, Netanyahu succeeds through this approach in maintaining the state of war in the West Bank, if it stops temporarily in Gaza. This means expanding the scope of aggression in the West Bank, under flimsy pretexts, such as targeting and fighting bombs, explosive devices, weapons and ammunition. The truth is that it is a war on the Palestinian people in order to eliminate them.

Among the many goals that Israel seeks to achieve through this blatant aggression on Tulkarm, Jenin and Tubas is to separate the governorates and towns from each other and prevent their geographical continuity, and to give the settlers a free hand to continue their rampage and abuse of citizens, as happened in Wadi Rahhal, south of Bethlehem, and before that in Jatt, Qalqilya, and a long series of attacks, the most prominent of which was in Huwara.

The international community is required to intervene immediately to stop the ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the violations of the occupation in Jerusalem, and to urgently and immediately demand the implementation of international laws and oblige Israel to comply with them, all in order to protect civilians in the West Bank who have become targets and killing projects for Israel, which wants more bloodshed. The UN Security Council is urgently required to act and take strict and binding decisions on Israel, because the continuation of its war on Gaza and the West Bank will lead to a dangerous and major explosion in the situation in the entire region, and will bring dire and destructive results.
