Israeli Army Radio reported on Friday evening that 10 rockets were fired from the buffer zone between Khan Yunis and Rafah towards kibbutzim east of the area.
According to the same source, the Iron Dome shot down one of those rockets, while a number of others fell in open areas.
The Israeli army confirmed the news.
The radio said that it was launched from the same area from which a rocket was launched towards Kiryat Malakhi.
