An Israeli settler burns agricultural lands in Al-Janiya, west of Ramallah

On Tuesday evening, a settler burned agricultural lands in the village of Al-Janiya, west of Ramallah.

Citizen Ayed Mazloum said that a settler from the “Talmon” settlement established on village lands threw a Molotov cocktail into the agricultural lands in the eastern region of the village, causing fires to ignite large areas of agricultural lands.

Mazloum added that the lands that were burned amounted to tens of dunams, planted with olive, fig, and grape trees, and belonged to families from the village, including: Samhan, Mazloum, Youssef, Khalil, Shabaih, Nassar, and other families.

He pointed out that since October 7, the occupation forces and groups of settlers have been preventing citizens from reaching those lands, and that anyone who approaches them is exposed to gunfire, stressing that he was shot by the colonists and survived by God’s power.

Mazloum explained that they are subjected to constant harassment by settlers, and that they were prevented from harvesting olives last year, and that the settlers practice pastoral settlement in the village by grazing their sheep on citizens’ agricultural lands.
