An Israeli government official said on Tuesday that the latest proposal regarding the situation in Gaza would allow Israel to achieve all its goals before ending the war.
The official, who requested to remain anonymous, added to Reuters: “Israel will not end the war before achieving all its goals, which are to destroy Hamas’ military capabilities (and end) its rule, release all hostages, and ensure that Gaza does not pose a threat to Israel in the future.”
He continued: "The proposed proposal enables Israel to achieve these goals, and Israel will indeed do so."
