US President Joe Biden commented on the sit-ins at American universities against the occupation’s aggression in Gaza, saying: “There is no place on any university campus for hate speech and anti-Semitism,” as he put it.
Biden added that the college protests put the right to expression and the rule of law at stake, and both must be adhered to, stressing that opposition is necessary for democracy.
He added that the protests did not force me to reconsider my policies in the region.
Several American universities witnessed protests by Palestinian supporters against the war on Gaza.
