British Foreign Office: An offer to Hamas that includes a truce for forty days

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron reported that there was a generous offer made to Hamas that included a 40-day ceasefire in Gaza in exchange for the release of detainees.


In detail, Cameron added that the offer included the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, in exchange for the release of detainees in the Gaza Strip, according to Cameron.


Cameron stressed on Monday that Tel Aviv must support the two-state solution.


In the context of the exchange deal, the leader of the opposition in the occupation entity, Yair Lapid, said that the most urgent task is the deal for the detainees, and the time has come to make the difficult decision, referring to submission to Hamas’ conditions.
