The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that “its mujahideen lured a mechanized Zionist force and trapped it in a mine ambush on Al-Sikka Street in the Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip.”
Al-Qassam added that its fighters used explosive devices and F-16 missiles in the ambush, which they fired at civilians but did not explode.
The Israeli "Rotter" website revealed that 3 soldiers were killed and 11 others were injured when an explosive device exploded in the Gaza Strip.
