West Bank: Attacks by Israeli colonists in Hebron and Bethlehem

Today, Saturday, colonists attacked a young man in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron Governorate.

Local sources reported that colonists wearing Israeli occupation army uniforms beat the young man, Omar Musa Muhammad (20 years old), while he was herding sheep in the Wadi Ma’in area of Masafer Yatta, which led to him sustaining bruises.

It is noteworthy that the colonialists are constantly chasing sheep herders in Masafer Yatta, with the aim of uprooting them from their land and displacing them from the region, in the interest of colonial expansion.

Colonists also attacked a number of sheep herders in the Khal Al-Dabaa area in Masafer Yatta, and forced them to leave the area.

Meanwhile, colonists seized quantities of the wheat crop in the wilderness of the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem.

The head of the Al-Minya village council, Zayed Kawazba, reported that a group of colonists attacked farmers after they finished harvesting quantities of the wheat crop in the lands of Wadi Al-Abyad in the Teqoua Wilderness, and seized it by force of arms. It belonged to the citizen Saket Musa Shalalda and his brothers, and the quantity was estimated at 2 tons.

It is noteworthy that the colonists escalated their attacks on the village of Al-Minya, by grazing their sheep on citizens’ lands, and preventing them from reaching them.
