Islamic Endowments: 1,679 Israeli extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Islamic Endowments Department announced that 551 settlers and extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the afternoon of the third day of the Jewish Passover.

The department stated that the number of extremist settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Thursday, rose to 1,679.

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the Israeli occupation police allowing extremist settlers to storm the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque/the Holy Mosque, and to carry out provocative practices that violate its sanctity.

The Ministry also condemned, in a statement, the imposition of restrictions on the entry of worshipers into the Holy Mosque, which is a violation of the historical and legal status quo in the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque/the Holy Mosque, and a violation of the sanctity of the holy places.
