Protests get out of control.. A Netanyahu supporter runs over demonstrators in Tel Aviv

The protests in Israel, demanding a prisoner exchange deal and the dismissal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, expanded into a wave of anger, chaos, and fistfights between the two sides of the protests, and reached the point where one of the Israelis succeeded in penetrating the crowds of anti-Netanyahu demonstrators with his car, running over a number of them, and transporting them to Tel Aviv hospitals. .

The confrontations this time were not between the Israeli police and the demonstrators, but rather between the protesters themselves, who were divided into two parts. Some of them accuse Netanyahu of crimes against the Israeli people, and some of them support his policies. These are usually described as extremists, according to the standards of the Israeli opposition.

Thousands of demonstrators gather daily in Tel Aviv, occupied Jerusalem, and Caesarea, where Netanyahu resides, his residence, and the Knesset, demanding a prisoner exchange deal with the Palestinian side, and an end to the war. The demonstrations often end in violent confrontations with the Israeli police.

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation announced that three demonstrators were injured as a result of the run-over accident, in addition to a female army officer who was also injured while trying to confront the car and break up the clashes between the two sides of the demonstration.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also published that the city of Haifa also witnessed mass demonstrations in which at least 8,000 people participated, raising slogans against the Netanyahu government at the Horev Junction in the center of the city.

Here, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid entered the line and said: “They will not deter us, and they will not push us to stop protesting until all the kidnappers return and the fall of this terrible government,” adding that “the car-ramming incident is a direct result of the incitement coming from the government and the poison machine,” as he put it.

It sparked a wide wave of interaction on social media platforms, as Abu Muhammad wrote: “It will continue until Netanyahu is overthrown.”

As for Rami Younis, he said: “I fell in love,” and Omar added: “And they have not yet seen anything, I swear to God, except our Lord, to take revenge on them for everything they did to us since the day they entered Palestine as usurpers and occupiers, and tomorrow we will see it soon.”

Muhammad Hussein wrote: “God will take revenge with His power on the Palestinian martyred children, and their blood will haunt them until a final judgment destroys them. I am certain that they will pay the price.”
