The Israeli police announced on Tuesday morning that they had arrested 155 Palestinians since the attack on October 7, on charges of online incitement to “terrorism.”
According to a statement by the Israeli police, indictments were filed against 153 of them, after publications it described as “inflammatory” were collected on social media.
According to the statement, 953 publications were examined, and a criminal investigation was opened into 492 of them by the Israeli Attorney General’s Office.
It indicated that collecting information and tracking publications is carried out by a special team from the Israeli Police, the Ministry of National Security, the Shin Bet, the army, and the Attorney General’s Office.
