Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo indicated on Saturday that he spoke with Israeli President Isaac Herzog after the resumption of the war on Gaza and informed him that "no more civilians should be killed."
“I raised my concerns about the fact that violence has been renewed and I repeated what I said at the Rafah crossing: no more killing of civilians,” De Croo told reporters at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai.
De Croo said on Saturday that Israel "has the right to eliminate the terrorist threat from Gaza" but should do everything in its power to ensure that no more civilians are killed.
