West Bank: Israeli army demolishes 6 homes, a sheep barn, a well, a water network, and agricultural crops in south of Hebron

Today, Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces demolished 6 homes, a sheep barn, and a well, and destroyed a water network and agricultural crops in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.


Coordinator of the Popular Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements in South Hebron, Ratib Al-Jabour, said that the occupation forces demolished, with their heavy machinery, six tin dwellings and a sheep barn, in the village of Shaab Al-Butm, east of Yatta, belonging to the citizens Ishaq Mahmoud Al-Jabareen and Ibrahim Jibreen Al-Jabareen, and sheltering approximately 20 citizens who were left out in the open. .


He added that the aim of the demolition is to expand the "Avigal" settlement adjacent to the village, which was built on citizens' lands and property south of Hebron.


Other local sources confirmed that these forces stormed the Agziyouh area, demolished a water well belonging to the citizen Muhannad Aziz Makhamreh, destroyed the water line connecting to the Wadi Jahish area, and destroyed agricultural crops belonging to the citizen Yousef Makhamreh near the Ma'in community.


Al-Jabour appealed to human rights, national and international institutions to intervene immediately and urgently to put an end to these barbaric practices that aim to displace citizens from their lands and prevent them from raising livestock.
