Israeli settlers attack olive pickers south of Nablus

Today, Tuesday, settlers attacked olive pickers in Yanun, which is part of the lands of the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus.


The head of the Yanun Village Council, Rashid Marar, said that settlers attacked farmers and olive pickers west of the village, opened fire on them, scattered the fruits on the ground and forced them to leave. They also smashed the windows of one of the vehicles, but no casualties were reported.


Marar added that the region is witnessing an escalation in settler attacks in Yanun, which is surrounded by several settlements and colonial outposts.
