The Israeli army claimed, on Sunday morning, that it had regained control over most of the areas of clashes that were taking place with members of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement.
According to a statement by the Israeli army, the clashes took place in 29 areas inside the enclave, most of which were controlled, and some clashes are still taking place in limited areas.
It claimed that the Sderot police station was controlled, and 10 militants were killed. Others killed in Ofakim and hostages freed.
It also, pointed out that his forces launched 429 attacks, during which they destroyed homes of Hamas leaders, the assets of the movement and its government, military infrastructure, and 10 residential towers allegedly used by the movement.
