Morocco confirmed, on Sunday evening, that it does not need any Israeli assistance in dealing with the damage of the earthquake that struck the country and left more than 2,000 dead.
The Moroccan Foreign Ministry sent a message to its Israeli counterpart, confirming that it does not need Israeli assistance at the present time, as reported by Hebrew Channel 7.
The channel indicated that Morocco sent the message against another background sent by the Israeli Foreign Ministry, during which it offered to provide assistance and send a large delegation for that purpose.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed a team from various ministries to be prepared to head to Morocco.
