Lyon club achieved its third successive victory in the French Football League , by defeating its host Toulouse 2-1 on Friday, in the opening of the thirty-first stage competitions.
Lyon opened the scoring from a penalty kick in the 34th minute, which Alexandre Lacazette successfully executed, before the landlords equalized through Moroccan international Zakaria Abu Khallal (37).
But a reverse goal by Logan Costa from Cape Verde (88), gave the guests the three points and raised them to sixth place in the standings with 50 points.
As for Toulouse, it remained in twelfth place with 38 points.
The stage will be completed on Saturday when the leaders, Paris Saint-Germain, will play as hosts to the club, Lens.
