Local sources stated that large forces of the occupation army stormed the areas of "Khilat Al-Ain and Al-Tarbiqa" in the town of Beit Ummar, and raided a number of citizens' homes, searched them and tampered with their contents, and arrested the freed prisoners Allam Youssef Zaqeq and Firas Ibrahim Abu Maria after brutally assaulting him in front of his family.
Violent confrontations erupted between the youths and those forces, during which live bullets and tear gas canisters were fired at the citizens, wounding two young men (24 years old) with live bullets in the pelvis and the right thigh.
