70,000 worshipers perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem - "Jerusalem" dot com - Tens of thousands performed Friday prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities at its gates and entrances to the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem estimated, in a statement, that about 70,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa.

And local sources reported that the occupation forces deployed in the streets of Jerusalem and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, stationed at its gates, stopped the worshipers, checked their identity cards, and prevented dozens from entering it.

Thousands of worshipers from the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and within the lands of the year 48, performed the dawn prayer today in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in support of the holy sites, and in rejection of the Judaizing occupation policies.
