He indicated that history will reveal the 'traitors' and the truth, in reference to reports talking about a spy in the close circle of the kidnapped president who facilitated the operation
In his first appearance after the shocking American military operation, Nicolas Maduro Guerra, known as 'Nicolasito', sent an enthusiastic voice message to supporters of the ruling party, vowing to confront American intervention in the field.
These statements come as the new Venezuelan government, led by Delcy Rodriguez, begins to gather its papers after the 'kidnapping' of Maduro and his wife in an attack launched by Washington last Saturday.
'Nicolasito', who is a deputy in parliament and one of those wanted by the American judiciary on charges of 'drug-related terrorism', denied that his family or the regime is in a state of collapse.
And he said in his recording broadcast on social media sites: 'They want to see us weak, but they will not see us weak'.
Maduro's son swore by his life and his parents to get out of this ordeal, confirming his family's determination to endure.
On the ground, Tabashir correspondents monitored movement of Maduro supporters in the streets of Caracas since noon on Sunday, in response to calls from 'Nicolasito' who said: 'You will see us in the streets raising flags of dignity'.
What increased the tension in the situation was Maduro's son's hint at the existence of internal 'betrayal' that enabled American forces to reach his father (63 years old) and his father's wife Cilia Flores (69 years old).
He indicated that history will reveal the 'traitors' and the truth, in reference to reports talking about a spy in the close circle of the kidnapped president who facilitated the operation.
On the political track, the Venezuelan army today Sunday announced its recognition of Delcy Rodriguez as interim president of the country, after her appointment by the Supreme Court following the vacancy of the presidency as a result of the American operation. This recognition strengthens the pillars of the current authority in the face of American threats and possible internal divisions.
They want to see us weak, but they will not see us weak.
