Today, Tuesday, the Israeli Public Prosecution in occupied Jerusalem filed an indictment in the city’s Central Court against Mohsen Halawani (38 years old), a resident of the city, for allegedly carrying out a ramming attack at the Qalandiya checkpoint two weeks ago, which led to the injury of a security guard at the place.
According to an indictment, Halwani had a knife that he was going to use in the operation, and when he noticed the presence of the security guard standing next to the road at the checkpoint, he decided to turn his vehicle and increase speed, hitting the guard, before moving back a few meters, apparently to try to run him over again, but he was controlled. And he was arrested.
