Medical sources announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli occupation's fire and airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, Monday, has risen to 59 dead.
A citizen was killed when the occupation bombed a house in the Al-Zarqa area of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, and was transferred to the Arab National Hospital 'Field Hospital'. Additionally, 6 citizens were killed and others were injured by the occupation's fire while waiting for aid in the northern city of Khan Younis, south of the Strip.
Earlier, a citizen was killed and 3 others were injured when the occupation targeted a group of citizens in the northwest of Gaza City. Another citizen was killed due to the bombing of a group of citizens in the yard of the Baptist Hospital in the center of Gaza City.
The occupation's airstrikes have concentrated on Gaza City, which has been subjected to intense aerial and artillery bombardment since dawn, resulting in dozens of casualties among dead and wounded across various parts of the city.
In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northwest of the city, 3 citizens were killed and others were injured due to the occupation's bombing of two inhabited houses, followed by another strike from a drone that targeted a tent housing displaced persons near the Tamus intersection, leading to the death of 3 more.
In Al-Yarmouk Street in the north of the city, the occupation's warplanes launched a fierce strike on the home of the Al-Dweihi family, resulting in the death of 5 citizens, while 4 others, including a girl, were killed in a strike that targeted a tent for displaced persons in the Shalihat area west of the city.
Occupation aircraft also targeted a residential apartment in the Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of two brothers, while several citizens were injured in a similar strike that hit an apartment in a residential building near the municipal park in the center of the city.
The occupation army continued to blow up houses and buildings using explosive robots around the Sheikh Radwan pool in northern Gaza, coinciding with airstrikes on the area, while occupation drones dropped explosive bombs on the rooftops of citizens' homes.
In the Al-Nuseirat camp in the center of the Strip, 5 citizens, including a girl, were killed, and 22 others were injured due to the occupation targeting a gathering of citizens.
In Khan Younis in the south of the Strip, 3 citizens, including two brothers, were killed, and 7 others were injured as a result of a bombing that targeted a tent for displaced persons in the Al-Qadisiyah camp in the Al-Mawasi area.
The occupation's artillery also shelled various areas in the north and south of Khan Younis, while warships fired shells towards the beach of Rafah City.
