The occupation army launches a wide campaign of raids and arrests in the West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests today, Tuesday, targeting Palestinian activists in the West Bank, as well as conducting extensive incursions and raids across several governorates.

Local Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the cities of Nablus and Qalqilya (in northern West Bank) and carried out raids and arrests among Palestinian citizens.

The sources added that the occupation forces also invaded Balata refugee camp, the village of Kafr Qalil (east of Nablus), the town of Yamoun (west of Jenin), the town of Tamoun (south of Tubas), the towns of Balaa and Anabta (in the Tulkarm district), and the city of Yatta (south of Hebron).

In detail, sources mentioned that one Palestinian was injured, and 18 others were arrested, including 5 from the town of Qusra (south of Nablus) in northern West Bank.

In Nablus as well, the occupation forces conducted incursions into several of its villages and arrested a number of Palestinians during the storming of the towns of Qusra and Kafr Qalil (south of the city) and the town of Asira al-Shamaliya (north).

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continued their raids and searches of Palestinian homes since the night hours in the town of Kafr Qalil (south of Nablus).

Palestinian sources stated that the occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinians after a series of raids on the town, forcing several families to evacuate their homes by force and under the threat of weapons.

Clashes also erupted following an attack by settlers on the western outskirts of the town of Osrin (south of Nablus).

Other incursions in northern West Bank also saw Israeli occupation forces using military bulldozers in Tulkarm, storming the town of Balaa (east of the city) and causing material damage to several homes due to tampering with their contents and the deliberate targeting by military bulldozers.

The occupation forces also conducted raids in Jenin, carried out arrests in the town of Kafr Thulth (east of Qalqilya), stormed the city, and spread throughout its neighborhoods.

Sources reported that settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in Wadi Sa'ir in Hebron (south of the West Bank).

In northern Ramallah, a group of settlers attacked the towns of Sinjil and al-Mughayer.

Palestinian media outlets published clips of a gathering of youths to confront an attack launched by extremist settlers in the hill area of the town of Sinjil (north of Ramallah).

For several days, activists from the residents of Sinjil have been organizing night patrols to protect the town from settler attacks.

Recently, Sinjil has faced repeated assaults, during which 4 Palestinians were martyred by Israeli army fire and due to settler violence, while others were injured, and vehicles and agricultural greenhouses were burned.

On a daily basis, settlers launch attacks—many of which involve firearms—against Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, aiming to forcibly displace them and seize their lands.

Statistics monitored by the "Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission" during last August recorded about 1,613 assaults committed by the Israeli army and settlers against Palestinians and their properties, including 431 assaults committed by settlers.

In preparation for annexing the West Bank, Israel has intensified its crimes against Palestinian citizens since the start of its war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, including home demolitions, displacement, and the expansion and acceleration of settlement construction.

Israel's annexation of the occupied West Bank would eliminate the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state, in implementation of the two-state solution principle (Palestinian and Israeli) as stipulated in resolutions issued by the United Nations.

Alongside the genocidal war on Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers have killed at least 1,016 Palestinians—in the West Bank including East Jerusalem—and injured about 7,000 others, in addition to arresting more than 18,500 citizens, according to Palestinian data.

With U.S. support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

This genocidal war has resulted in 63,459 martyrs and 160,256 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands of
