On Sunday, the far-right Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, launched a scathing attack on the Israeli occupation army.
The extremist minister said: “The Army General Staff caused one of the biggest disasters in the country,” according to the Hebrew Channel 12.
He stated that he believes "what will bring the kidnapped people back is cutting off contact and resuming intense military effort."
The Israeli army continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 163rd day in a row, leaving 31,553 killed and 73,546 people injured since last October 7.
