Dozens of citizens suffocated today, Sunday, during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the Bab al-Zawiya area in central Hebron.
According to local sources, these forces fired stun grenades and poisonous gas towards demonstrators and citizens’ homes in the Bab al-Zawiya area during confrontations that took place in the area, causing a number of them to suffocate.
The occupation forces also tightened their procedures at military checkpoints, especially at the Shuhada checkpoint in the center of Hebron.
