Israel arrests two Palestinians near Jenin, stops two others near Jericho

Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinian men in two separate operations in the West Bank.

According to local sources, Israeli forces detained Amir al-Ja'bari and Layth Samoudi from al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, as they passed by Salem military base.

In a separate operation, Israeli occupation forces shuttered a main street to the village of Al-Auja, north of Jericho and arrested two other Palestinians as they passed through a flying checkpoint.

Their identities have not yet been confirmed, and local sources say that Israel has ramped up its military presence in the area.
