Palestinians strike in the Galilee to protest crime-related killings

The local council of Nahf in the Galilee announced a general strike on Thursday after the latest crime-related homicide in the Arab community in Israel.

On Wednesday night, a man in his forties – Falastin Mattar – was shot dead in the locality.

The death toll in the Arab community from crime-related killings since the beginning has reached 129, the highest point for this point in the year. Twenty-four Palestinians have been killed in the month of July alone.
