One Palestinian killed, several injured in major settler attack on West Bank town

One Palestinian was killed and several others were injured on Wednesday in a major attack by Israeli settlers, under the protection of the occupation army, on the West Bank town of Turmus 'Ayya,

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that 27-year-old Omar Qateen died from a bullet wound in the chest, though it was not immediately clear whether this came from the army or settlers. 

Three others were injured by bullet wounds to their lower bodies. 

Local sources reported that there were other injuries as a result of settlers throwing stones at houses. 

Israeli settlers set ablaze some 30 houses and 60 vehicles. Some were completely burned down, while others were only partially damaged.
