The occupation demolishes a residential building in the town of Silwan

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a residential building in the Wad Qaddum neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.


Local sources reported that the building, which was demolished by the occupation forces, under the pretext of not having a permit, housed 50 people from the al-Husseini family.


The occupation authorities had handed the Al-Husseini family a decision to vacate the house, in preparation for its demolition, in 2018.


Al-Maqdisiyah Umm Adam, the wife of Imad al-Husseini, one of the residents of the building, said that this building was built 40 years ago, and her husband and brothers bought it 17 years ago. years, and she postponed the demolition several times, and went to the law to prevent it.


Im Adam lives in her apartment consisting of a bedroom, a living room and their benefits, with her eight children and her retired husband.
