The Islamic Bloc, the student framework of the "Hamas" movement, achieved an important victory in the elections of the Student Union of An-Najah University in Nablus.
The Islamic Bloc won, as it was officially announced, 40 seats, compared to 38 in favor of the Fatah Youth, and 3 seats for the Abu Ali Mustafa bloc affiliated with the Popular Front.
The vote rate was 69.83%.
Following the announcement of the official results, the university witnessed celebrations by the Islamic Bloc and its supporters.
