A child was killed in a trampling accident west of Salfit

A two-and-a-half-year-old child was killed, Monday evening, in a trampling accident in the town of Bidya, west of Salfit .

The media spokesman for the police , Colonel Louay Arziqat , stated in a press statement that the child was trampled while he was in front of his house, by a member of his family, which caused him severe injuries, after which he was transferred to the Martyr Yasser Arafat Hospital in the city of Salfit, where the doctors announced his death.

Erziqat added that the Public Prosecution Office was informed and the traffic police investigated the accident, to find out its causes.
