The occupation decides to release the father of the martyr Moataz Khawaja

Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation authorities decided to release Salah Al-Khawaja (51 years), the father of the martyr Moataz Al-Khawaja , and to extend the detention of the brother of the martyr Muhammad for a week in the Ofer prison investigation.

Moataz Al-Khawaja (23 years old) was able to reach Tel Aviv after crossing the wall separating the village of Ni'lin , west of Ramallah, located on the border separating the West Bank and the territories occupied in 1948, and carried out a shooting attack at the occupation soldiers stationed near the apartheid wall. During which three Israelis were wounded of varying severity, while Al-Khawaja was killed by the Israeli occupation bullets.

Sheikh Salah Al-Khawaja is considered one of the men of reform in the region, and he was one of hundreds of Palestinian activists who were deported by Israel to Marj Al-Zuhur in southern Lebanon in the early 1990s.
