Barcelona - (AFP) - Barcelona defender Gerard Pique announced surprisingly Thursday his retirement from football at the age of 35, stressing that he will play his last match next Saturday.
"Saturday's match (against Almeria in the league) will be my last at Camp Nou," the world and European champion said in a video he posted on his social media.
