The Israeli occupation army, on Sunday evening, besieged the city of Ramallah and its entrances, under the pretext of security suspicions, following initial reports of a hit-and-run incident near the city of Rawabi, in the occupied West Bank.
The Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that Israeli forces imposed a military siege on the city, set up barriers, and conducted searches, claiming suspicion of a hit-and-run incident near the Atirat settlement adjacent to Rawabi.
According to a statement issued by the Israeli army, there are suspicions of a hit-and-run operation near the Atirat settlement (central West Bank).
The army indicated that its forces are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
According to the army's official radio, the incident resulted in one minor injury, while Israeli authorities did not immediately confirm the background of what happened.
