On Friday evening, the Israeli army injured a Palestinian, while settlers attacked a village in the occupied West Bank and fired shots in the air, causing panic among the residents.
In the town of Idna, west of Hebron city in the south of the West Bank, a Palestinian was slightly injured after Israeli army forces stormed the town, firing live ammunition and sound grenades.
Israeli settlers also attacked the outskirts of the village of "Furqah" west of Salfit governorate in the north of the West Bank, and fired live ammunition in the air.
Member of the Furqah village council, Mustafa Bakr, said that about 50 settlers attacked the northern outskirts of the village and fired live ammunition in the air, causing terror among the residents.
Bakr added that the Israeli army stormed the village to secure and protect the settlers, without reporting any injuries.
Since the start of the genocide war in Gaza on October 8, 2023, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1105 Palestinians, injured about 11,000, in addition to arresting more than 21,000.
Meanwhile, the Israeli genocide with American support in Gaza has left more than 71,000 Palestinian dead and 171,000 injured, mostly children and women, and destruction affecting about 90% of the civilian infrastructure, with the UN estimating the reconstruction cost at about 70 billion dollars
