Qatari Prime Minister: Mediators will hold a meeting on Friday to outline the transition to the second phase of the Gaza agreement

Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani announced on Wednesday that mediators will hold a meeting next Friday to outline the transition to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement on the Gaza Strip.

This came according to televised statements made by the Qatari Prime Minister during his indefinite visit to Washington, which began on Tuesday.

And the Prime Minister said that he discussed in Washington the importance of doubling efforts to transition to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement on Gaza.

He added that preparations are underway with the American side and all mediators for a meeting of all mediators on Friday to outline how to transition to the second phase, without further details.
