Qatar warns of renewed conflict in Gaza due to Israeli violations

The Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, affirmed that the current situation in the Gaza Strip is unsustainable, warning that Israeli practices pose a real threat to escalating the situation and the return of violence to the besieged sector.

The Qatari Prime Minister's statements came during his participation in a session within the activities of the second day of the Doha Forum 2025, where he highlighted the seriousness of the humanitarian and living situation faced by the residents of Gaza in light of the continued siege and violations.

Al Thani stressed that the residents of the Gaza Strip are holding on to their land and reject any attempt to force them to displacement or forced migration, stressing his country's rejection of Israeli displacement plans that aim to change the demographic composition of the sector.

In a related context, the Qatari Prime Minister reiterated his country's commitment to working to reduce escalation in the region and achieve just and comprehensive peace, noting that this goal can only be achieved through the involvement of all concerned parties in the political process.

These statements come in light of the continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, where the Palestinian Ministry of Health documented the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Palestinians as a result of the continuous Israeli bombing of the sector.

It is noteworthy that the current edition of the Doha Forum, which is being held under the slogan "Establishing Justice... From Promises to Tangible Reality", is witnessing wide participation from leaders and decision-makers from around the world, with the aim of discussing global challenges and finding innovative solutions to them.
