The Israeli army launched airstrikes early Sunday, coinciding with demolition operations of buildings in the areas it occupies in the cities of Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip.
A local reporter cited sources and eyewitnesses that Israeli planes bombed several areas in Rafah, while warships fired their shells towards the city's coast.
Israeli vehicles stationed near the "Mouraj Axis" northeast of Rafah also carried out combing operations with heavy gunfire.
Israel violates the ceasefire agreement that has been in place since October 10th daily.
