Two Palestinians were killed on Monday by Israeli army fire and an extremist settler in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated in a statement that the boy, Jamil Atef Hanani (17 years old), was martyred after succumbing to critical injuries he sustained from occupation fire on Sunday evening in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
Late on Sunday evening, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated in a statement that its teams transported a young man with a very serious gunshot wound to the chest to the hospital, noting that attempts were made to resuscitate him. It mentioned that the young man was injured in the town of Beit Furik during clashes with the occupation forces.
For its part, the Palestinian news agency reported early Monday that the young man Ahmad Rabhi Al-Atrash was killed after being shot in the head by a settler directly at the northern entrance of Hebron city. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society had previously reported that Israeli forces prevented its teams from reaching the injured person.
