The occupation's drones have not left the skies of the Gaza Strip, continuing to carry out intelligence missions aimed at renewing its military target bank, despite the ceasefire agreement coming into effect on October 10th.
The Israeli occupation is taking advantage of the relative calm in the Gaza Strip as an opportunity to gather more information about Palestinian resistance elements, and then fabricate justifications to target them, similar to the focused airstrikes that the army repeated twice last month.
The Palestinian resistance security agencies have warned against the occupation forces exploiting the daily routine and security laxity among some resistance members to infiltrate their ranks, gather information, and target individual weaknesses.
A responsible security source in Gaza revealed that the occupation forces exploit periods of apparent calm to reorganize their intelligence capabilities and gather information to update their target bank.
The responsible source explained in his remarks that this exploitation includes intensifying monitoring operations, using the latest technological tools in the world, especially those related to drones, artificial intelligence, and satellites.
The security source confirmed that the goal is clear: "To turn temporary calm into an opportunity to redraw the target map and attempt to undermine the resistance's ability to endure later."
He pointed out that the occupation relies on a mix of intelligence, technical, and procedural means to exploit periods of calm, including: increasing general surveillance.
The agencies are also working to enhance the protection of various institutions, ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information, and punish anyone who collaborates with the occupation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
He called on "anyone who dares to conspire with the occupation to immediately retract and commit to national and legal responsibility."
In this context, security researcher Rami Abu Zubeida believes that the patterns of fieldwork for hostile intelligence consist of blending technical capabilities with human networks operating in the field.
The occupation seeks to gather what it failed to collect during times of confrontation.
