The Israeli occupation army announced that the Red Cross has received the bodies of 4 detainees who are now on their way to a force from the army and the Shin Bet inside the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades handed over the bodies of 4 detainees to the Red Cross in Gaza City as part of a ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli occupation army announced on Tuesday evening that teams from the International Red Cross were on their way to receive the remains of a new batch of detainees who were killed in the Gaza Strip.
The occupation army stated in an updated statement that the handover will take place in northern Gaza, correcting a previous piece of information that mentioned the meeting point would be in the southern part of the strip.
The statement read: "The Red Cross is on its way to the meeting point in northern Gaza, where several coffins containing the remains of hostages will be handed over."
Earlier, the French Press Agency quoted a senior Hamas official as saying that the remains of between four to six hostages are scheduled to be handed over this evening.
This step comes as part of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement terms and follows one day after the movement handed over the remains of four detainees, and after completing the release of the last 20 detainees who were alive on Monday.
