The Gaza government stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a misleading speech at the United Nations on Friday, which included 8 major lies and dozens of flimsy claims and glaring contradictions, asserting that it would not change the truth and that the world has become more aware.

The government media office in the sector added in a statement that "Netanyahu's speech contained a series of lies and glaring contradictions, the most prominent of which were 8 major lies alongside dozens of flimsy claims, in a desperate attempt to justify war crimes and genocide in Gaza."

Regarding the file of Israeli prisoners, the office said that "Netanyahu spoke in his speech about Israeli prisoners and that he would not forget them, but the facts on the ground prove that his criminal government seeks to achieve the declared goals of its ministers, which are: killing and genocide, total destruction, and forced displacement, without any concern for the lives of the prisoners."

On international support for Tel Aviv, the office pointed out that Netanyahu "claimed that many leaders supported Israel after the events of October 7, but he acknowledged that this support evaporated, and the truth is that the vast majority of countries in the world did not and will not support the crime of genocide; rather, the rising international acknowledgments of the rights of the Palestinian people came as a natural result of exposing the false narrative of the Israeli occupation."

The government office added: "Netanyahu claimed that leaders succumbed to the pressure of extremist Islamists, while the truth is that international public opinion has become aware of the extent of the deception practiced by the occupation for decades, and countries have begun to correct their historical mistakes by recognizing the rights of our Palestinian people."

It noted that "Netanyahu spoke in his speech about a war on 7 fronts, including the Gaza front, describing it as a fight against terrorism, while the truth is that the war was against civilian populations and civilian objects, as confirmed by the numbers, where international organizations have confirmed that 94 percent of Palestinian martyrs are civilians."

As for displacement, the office said: "Netanyahu claimed that the resistance prevented the people of Gaza from leaving, in a blatant contradiction with his talk about the displacement of 700,000 people as he claims, which reveals the falsehood of his narrative and the inconsistency of his speech; on the contrary, government agencies provided assistance and support to the displaced coming from Gaza to the south, and there was no prevention of families from leaving Gaza."

It added: "Netanyahu claimed that the occupation was not seeking genocide because it asked civilians to leave, while the facts prove that the occupation committed complete genocide by dropping more than 200,000 tons of explosives on civilian residential neighborhoods, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 64,000 civilians who reached hospitals."

In the aid file, the office stated that "Netanyahu accused the resistance of stealing aid, and that the occupation is the one providing food, while the truth is that he himself admitted to sponsoring criminal gangs that his government supplies with weapons and logistics as part of a policy of engineering chaos and starvation, which led to the martyrdom of hundreds of civilians from hunger, including 147 children, in addition to the occupation army supervising death traps designed to lure and kill the hungry."

It continued: "Netanyahu claimed that the recognition of new countries of the Palestinian state encourages the killing of Jews, while the truth is that recognizing the Palestinian state is a legal and international entitlement, reflecting a belated understanding from the international community of the legitimate historical rights of our Palestinian people after 77 years of suffering."

The office confirmed that "Netanyahu's speech represents a desperate attempt to distort the facts and evade legal responsibility for the crimes committed in Gaza, as well as for the crimes committed over 77 years of ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, and systematic killing against our Palestinian people."

It emphasized that "these lies will not change the truth, and it seems that the world has become more aware and cognizant of the nature of the Israeli occupation as a colonial settler power based on lies, deception, and systematic killing."

It held "the U.S. administration fully responsible for this catastrophic reality that our Palestinian people are living in facing the occupation."

The office called on the world "to stop the genocide and killing, then to compel the occupation to withdraw from the Gaza Strip, open the crossings, allow the entry of food and medicine, complete the steps for recognizing the Palestinian state, and end the occupation of Palestinian lands."
