Occupation army: Death of a sergeant in a sniper operation during battles in northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army announced on Thursday the death of one of its soldiers from the 'Nahal' Brigade in battles in northern Gaza Strip, in an incident that Hebrew media later revealed was a precise sniper operation that triggered an alert within the army.

The newspaper 'Maariv' reported warnings from the occupation's security establishment that the Hamas movement is seeking to carry out a soldier kidnapping 'in the near future,' which raises the level of tension and concern among the occupation leadership.

The occupation army acknowledged that the deceased soldier is Sergeant First Class Shalashio Shimon Dimlash, 21 years old, from Be'er Sheva, who is a fighter in the 932nd Battalion of the Nahal Brigade.
