Two Israelis injured in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem and a mobilization of occupation forces.

Two Israelis were injured, one of whom was described as having moderate to serious wounds, in a stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian youth inside a hotel in the Jerusalem area today, Friday. The Palestinian resistance praised the act as a natural response to the crimes of the occupation.

The occupation police stated in a statement that they arrested the perpetrator of the attack, a young man from the Shuafat refugee camp north of Jerusalem, and Israeli media reported the arrest of others suspected of assisting the attacker.

The occupation deployed a large number of border guard forces to the scene of the attack, which comes in the wake of a shooting incident carried out by two Palestinian youths inside a central bus station north of Jerusalem last Monday, resulting in the deaths of 6 Israelis and injuries to others.

For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated in a statement that "the heroic stabbing operation carried out by one of the heroes of Palestine in the city of Jerusalem this Friday afternoon is a natural response to the crimes of the terrorist enemy and its settler hordes, and constitutes a new blow to the security apparatus of the occupation and its illusions of stopping the rooted resistance in the hearts of our people."

The statement added that "the ongoing operations carried out by the rebellious youth of Palestine against the criminal occupation soldiers come in the context of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, and the extended crimes of the enemy that have affected our brotherly Arab countries, the latest of which was the targeting of the negotiating movement delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha."

Hamas affirmed that the option of confrontation with the occupier "is the natural response to its crimes and brutal massacres in the Gaza Strip and the attacks of fascist settlers in the cities and villages of the West Bank and Jerusalem, and its desperate attempts to impose annexation and displacement."

Meanwhile, the occupation army continued its retaliatory measures following the shooting incident in Jerusalem last Monday, as sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the towns of Qatna and Qabiba northwest of Jerusalem and raided the homes of the attackers who were martyred following the assault.
